It is believed that Blunt, New York City, was behind the line of Metropolitan Revolvers .36 caliber percussion, 6 shot single action NAVY Model revolver, 7 1/2" octagon barrel left side right side The revolver is an identical copy of the Colt 1851 Navy. Production was about 6000 between 1864 and 1866 H.E. Dimick ordered 300 of these revolvers from which about 100 are marked with H.E. Dimick, St.Louis .36 caliber percussion, 5 shot single action Police Revolver, 4 9/16" round barrel, half fluted cylinder left side right side This model was produced about 1866 |
